Avon United Methodist Church's (AUMC) Vacation Bible School (VBS) is FREE for children age 4 (as of June 1, 2023) through entering 6th grade (for the 2023-2024 school year).
Attendance will be limited and online registration is required.
We will start a waitlist if a grade is full. Please email your information to VBS2@avonumc.com to join the waitlist. If you are registering multiple children from the same household and one of the needed grade levels is closed, please email us at VBS2@avonumc.com. We have built-in an allowance for our numbers so all siblings can attend, even if a grade is full.
Registration closes on June 8th at 5pm.
While we no longer have the properly trained support staff needed to continue our Special Needs Buddy program during VBS, children with special needs are still more than welcome to join us with their caregiver. The caregiver must have a background check completed through the church's system. Please contact Holly at hncollins.family.03@gmail.com or 317-345-3002 to make the necessary arrangements.
Parents will be required to pick up a welcome packet, which includes name tags and car numbers, on Saturday, June 24th from 10am - 1pm or Sunday, June 25th from 8:30-11:30am or 2:00-3:00pm. More information will be forthcoming.
Pre-ordered t-shirts and music digital downloads will be invoiced separately and available for pick-up with the welcome packet or during VBS week. A limited supply of t-shirts will be available to purchase during the week of VBS.
Drop off and Pick Up: BEEP BEEP! We will be utilizing car lines for drop off and pick up! Information and procedures will be outlined in the welcome packet.
Please plan on joining us for the Friday Program on June 30th from 11:50am-12:30pm to celebrate the week! Doors open for parent and guest seating starting at 11:30am. We will dismiss from the Multipurpose Room (Gym) that day. Please note that there will be no afternoon car pick-up on Friday and the late dismissal time to accommodate the program.
