Avon United Methodist Church's (AUMC) Vacation Bible School (VBS) is FREE for children age 4 (as of June 1, 2025 and bathroom independent) through entering 6th grade (for the 2025-2026 school year). NEW THIS YEAR: Incoming 6th graders can register to patriciate in the program OR sign up to volunteer.
Avon United Methodist Church is the oldest operational church in Hendricks County and has been providing free Vacation Bible School programs since the early 1950's. Our VBS is planned and managed entirely by volunteers. Every volunteer, 18 years of age and older, must have background check on file with the church. In addition, all those in leadership positions have undergone Safe Sanctuary Training.
Looking for a way to support our VBS program? The generosity of our church family and community members is what allows us to provide VBS for free! We also need Capris Suns donations.
