We are excited about all the adventures awaiting us at Jerusalem Marketplace VBS this summer! We look forward to helping children learn about Jesus' life as we experience a small portion of what it was like to live in Bible-times.
At Jerusalem Marketplace VBS, children will enjoy:
- Opening Assembly Celebration, with skits and music
- Tribe Time
- Marketplace Shops (crafts)
- Village Playground
- Synagogue School (Bible lessons)
- Village Bakery (snacks)
Mission Project:
We will collect a daily monetary offering to donate to the local Sleep in Heavenly Peace ministry. This ministry builds sturdy beds for needy children in our community, allowing them to have a real bed, complete with bedding, comforters and pillows.
In addition, we'll collect hygiene supplies to donate to Bright Blessings. This organization assembles "to-go bags" for children in desperate situations, along with hygiene kits for needy children in the Mooresville area.
Both organizations are committed to improving lives of young children in the local area, and we are excited to be a part of donating to these organizations!
