How do I check-in my child on the first day?
You will come into the building on the first day to check-in and pick up your child's wristband (Our nametages are wristbands this year!) and your pick-up card for the carline.  Check-in will begin at 8:30am on Monday.  To expedite the process, you can pick up your child's wristband on Sunday this year, and then on Monday all you need to do is walk them in the building.

How do I pick up my child?
As a convenience to you and an added measure of security for the children, we will have a pick-up car line. You will receive a name placard for your vehicle at check-in. More detailed information will be sent to participants just before VBS begins.

Can I request a friend to be in the same group as my child?
Children are placed in mixed age crews which encourages relationship building and teamwork in a family-like group for a week.  It is OK if your child does not know anyone in his/her crew on Day 1. By the end of the week, your child will have had the opportunity to build relationships with new friends. You may request one friend to be in the same group as your child. That friend must also request your child in order for our computer system to recognize the request and place them together. **Preschoolers will be in separate groups than elementary aged children** Crew assignments are finalized the week before VBS begins.

Should my child bring anything?
No, unless something is medically necessary. S/he should wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Please have your child leave all devices or toys at home.

Should I send a snack?
We will provide fun snacks that fit the theme of the day. If your child cannot have all parts of the snack we are serving, we request that you send an appropriate snack that day. A snack list and ingredients are available upon request.

What is your health policy?

Volunteers & participants will be asked not to participate if showing any symptoms of illness during the week such as: fever, vomiting, or diarrhea within the last 24 hours, symptoms of nausea, sore throat, runny nose, head lice, or any contagious rash.
