Good Shepherd's VBS at a glance:
- Our VBS is open to 3 year olds (by June 17) through outgoing 5th graders.
- We love our small-group model! Children that have just completed Kindergarten through Grade 5 are thoughtfully placed into small mixed-age groups. Studies and our own experience have shown that children thrive in this model - younger children look up to older ones; cooperation increases and competitiveness decreases.
- 3-5 year olds use the nursery as their home base and enjoy a simplified rotation schedule.
- VBS begins promptly at 5pm with dinner. Pick up will be in the Sanctuary at 8pm (come early if you want to hear some enthusiastic singing during our Closing!).
- Each day we learn about and collection offerings for a mission project.
