WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE REGISTERING

Registration opens Monday, May 1, 2018

Requirements for ALL Adult leaders (details below):

  • Available the entire week of VBS:  Monday, June 18th to Friday, June 22nd from 8:45 AM to 1:30 PM daily (Camper time is 9:30 PM to 1:00 PM)
  • Attend Volunteer Planning Meeting: April 15, 2018 at 2:30pm in St. Joseph room.
  • Attend Mandatory Walk-Through June 14, 2018 at 6:30pm  - 8:30pm
  • Complete online Safe Environment Training (Link VIRTUS)
  • Complete Live Scan - Fingerprinting (Link Live Scan Form), call for locations and/or questions.

Dates and times you will need to be available the ENTIRE WEEK of VBS:

Monday, June 18th  to Friday, June 22nd  from 8:45 am to 1:30 pm in the Gym.

Please note:  

Creating Shipwrecked There will be additional two hour work shifts available during the week of June 11th. During this time we turn St. Mary school gym into Shipwrecked Island! Let us know if you are interested in helping with the "Work Parties" in creating environment for Shipwrecked Island! STATION LEADER JOB TYPE DESCRIPTIONS:  Station leaders are the core of Shipwrecked. You are the people who prepare and teach the material in the station leader manuals and show God's love to the children attending VBS. Children will look forward to seeing their station leaders each day! There are four stations and a supportive role at Shipwrecked VBS. They are the following:

THE REGISTRATION PROCESS/CONFIRMATION

 After reading this entire page, you can register on the Adult Volunteer Registration page beginning on Monday, May 1, 2018.

 We will communicate through email and texts, so make sure you put down an email that will be checked often and current mobile number.

 If you are not currently a volunteer in any of our youth programs, please make sure to complete the Virtus Online Safe Environment Training and Live Scan Fingerprinting required by the Diocese of Oakland in order to participate in VBS. (Scroll up to "Requirements for Adult leaders" for links)
