VBS at St. Mark's is for preschoolers ages 3 and 4, as well as for elementary students through 5th grade.
We’re so excited about Rainforest Falls Vacation Bible School and can’t wait to share in an unforgettable experience for our young people, their caregivers, and our dedicated volunteers! Get ready for an incredible week filled with faith, fun, and friendship. Here are some key details to help make the most of our time together:
Drop-off and Pick-up:
- Please arrive a few minutes early to complete check-in procedures. We start our opening time together right at 9 am. Check-in is located at the tables in the courtyard.
- Pick-up will be at 12 p.m. in the Social Hall. Before leaving, each child must be signed out. Your child's crew leader will have the sign-out sheet.
- Parents and caregivers are invited to attend our closing in the Social Hall at 11:40 am to see what we have been doing every day.
- Please be mindful of our incredible VBS volunteers and be on time (12 pm) for pick-up each day. Thank you!
Help your child be ready for VBS each day by:
Wearing closed-toed shoes
Wearing clothing appropriate for a fun day that includes dancing and playing outdoor games.
Applying sunscreen before arrival (we will be outdoors for some time every day).
Please keep these things at home:
Toys or electronics
Any items that could be distracting to others or get lost.
Extra food and drink items. We will have a light snack and water each day.
And Lastly...
For the best interests of your child, the VBS staff, and the other children attending, we would like to remind you that you must be able to answer yes to each of the points below regarding your child.
Social Readiness:
- Can be separate from you for several hours.
- Can take turns and share toys.
- Can listen to simple instructions.
Physical Readiness:
- Is fully potty trained.
- Can use the restroom independently. Our volunteers are not allowed to be in the restroom with any child at any time.
- Can remain awake and alert during the entire time scheduled for VBS (9 am-12 pm).
Thank you for helping create an experience that will be incredible for all who participate by making sure your child is ready.
Please be aware that we will require a parent or caregiver to pick up any child who does not meet the above criteria.
