Pictures

We will take pictures of the children throughout the week. We will give each child a printed picture on the last day of VBS, and we will post pictures on our church website  and Instagram so you can see all of the fun that the kids had throughout the week. If you prefer not to have your child photographed, please let the church know when you drop off your child on the first day.  Secretary@parkwoodchurch.org or call the office at (412) 486-9220

T-Shirts

Those registered by June 13th will be guaranteed a shirt. If you register after that, we will try our best to get you a shirt.

Sunday Worship

(and every Sunday, for that matter!)
We will sing and dance to our VBS songs during the service as we celebrate an amazing week together.
After worship, everyone is invited to stay for a church picnic filled with food, fun, and fellowship. We hope to see you there! 

Themed Days

To add even more fun to our week, we will have themed days that your child can participate in if he or she would like:

• Tuesday - Crazy Sock Day

• Wednesday - Tie Dye or Camouflage Day

• Thursday - Crazy Hair Day

• Friday - Hat Day

Allergies

We can provide a list of each day's snacks if you have allergy concerns. If you would like, you could pack your own snacks for the week. Please email the church if you have concerns about allergies/food. secretary@parkwoodchurch.org

Charity

The Bible teaches us to be good stewards. Each year at VBS, we provide an opportunity to donate funds or supplies to local people in need. The VBS+ kids even get to distribute these items in person! More details on this year's charity will be forthcoming, including any supplies that we will be collecting.

The following information pertains to VBS (preschool - grade 4):

Games

We may play water games on warm days. If you're heading anywhere after VBS, you can bring a change of dry clothes for your possibly wet kids. (We will not have kids change clothes during VBS, but you can use our restrooms after you have picked up your child.)

Groups

Preschool children will be grouped together and will participate in age-appropriate activities. Children in kindergarten through grade 4 will be grouped based on the number of registrants.

The following information pertains to VBS+ (grade 5 through 8):

Field Trips

VBS+ kids will take trips off campus. They will complete mission projects off-campus and participate in a fun field trip! Parents will fill out permission slips for these trips on the first day of VBS.
