Operation Kid-to-Kid

COMPASSION SURVIVAL

Helping babies in their Critical 1st year of Life

Each evening, kids will have the opportunity to give towards our African mission project.

Compassion believes that the emotional, social, physical and spiritual development of young children have a direct effect on the adults they will become.  From a mother's pregnancy through a baby's first year of life, Compassion Survival provides essential care that they need to survive and thrive.  Moms may receive prenatal care and birth assistance.  They also receive training and support to help their babies reach milestones that are critical in early development.

These funds will allow Compassion teams to provide basic needs and nutrition such as clean water, healthy food, vitamins, milk, diapers, and monthly growth monitoring.  Health care interventions for pre and post-natal care for mother and baby, critical medical resources, and immunizations are provided, along with home visits, emotional & spiritual support, parenting workshops, one-on-one coaching, and infant cognitive support.

All funds received through the children's VBS offering will go to the Compassion Survival program.  Through this program, the kids at VBS can help babies reach their 1st birthday as healthy children.
