ADULT Confirmation retreat is required to be eligible for the Fall Adult Confirmation Mass.
Retreat is held FEBRUARY 17, 2024 from 9am-4:30pm @ MPB-St. Maria Goretti Youth Center. The Adult Confirmation Mass will be celebrated at the Corpus Christi Cathedral on 3/9/2024, 11am.
This Adult Confirmation celebration is only for catechized adult Catholics who have not yet received the Sacrament of Confirmation but have received Baptism and First Communion.
Candidates who are under 18 years old or still in high school should be confirmed with their high school parish Confirmation group.
Candidates who are in a cohabitating relationship or an irregular marriage need pastoral counseling and accompaniment and their Confirmation must be delayed until this situation is rectified to be able to receive the Sacraments licitly and fruitfully.
Guidelines for Sponsors: The sponsor is to be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church, at least sixteen years of age and have received the sacraments of initiation: Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation. Individuals who are in irregular marriages, in a cohabitating relationship, or not practicing Catholics cannot be sponsors.
Parents cannot be sponsors.
