What is Cool Camp?
Cool Camp was created as a fun and exciting summer adventure for kids in Perry County and beyond. Every year, we dive into God's word through science experiments, stories, singing, games, and swimming.
How Much does Cool Camp Cost?
Cool Camp is a free service offered to the community. We want the opportunity to share God's love with those around us.
What are the age ranges for Cool Camp?
Children ages 5-12 are welcome to register for Cool Camp. Former Campers that are 14 or older have the opportunity to become an Assistant Crew Leader.
What should my child bring to Cool Camp?
Each child should come with an outfit that's suitable to play in, a packed lunch as well as a beach towel and a modest swimming suit.
What if my child has allergies, medical concerns, or can't swim?
We want to be sure that your child is safe while he or she is in our care. Please let us know if there is anything specific that we should be aware of. We cannot always accommodate every camper's special needs, but we have accepted and made accommodations for many low support needs neurodivergent children. Every child who wants to swim in the deeper part of the pool must pass a swim test and wear a wristband through the week. Those that can’t swim can bring necessary floatation devices and will swim in the shallow ends with members of our staff. We also have multiple nurses and teachers on staff with first aid and CPR training.
When and Where is Cool Camp this year?
Cool Camp will be July 13-17, 2026. Cool Camp will be held at the Shermans Dale Seventh Day Adventist Church: 6951 Spring Road, Shermans Dale, PA 17090
