WE LOVE VOLUNTEERS!
Without VBS volunteers, this amazing event wouldn't take place! It is our goal to share the vision and purpose of TRUE NORTH VBS with every station leader, crew leader, and behind-the-scenes volunteer. To make this week the best it can be for everyone involved, volunteers are required to attend one of the two training dates listed below. If you cannot attend either meeting, you will be required to have a one-on-one phone chat with one of our directors. These trainings are tailor made to set you up to win as a leader during the week of VBS!
Volunteer Training Dates:
(Please attend one)
• LIVE Wednesday, June 4th at 6:30 PM
• ZOOM Tuesday, June 5th at 6:30 PM
Volunteer Pep Rally
Sunday, June 8th, 4:30 PM -6 PM (Begin in the Sanctuary)
This final meeting is required for all volunteers as we pray for the upcoming week, walk through the stations around the campus, and go over station/crew assignments. Dinner will be served at 5:30pm for all volunteers.
Volunteer Shirts
Shirts will be available for purchase for $15 from the church office anytime starting June 2nd. Volunteer shirts are required and we encourage our volunteers to wear them daily.

Bring anything you like! If you forget, just bring it the next day!
Service Hours
We gladly give service hours to all eligible volunteers. Please bring paperwork, filled out completely and ready to be signed, on Thursday June 12th. Form letters are also available, if needed. Completed forms will be ready for pick up at the Welcome Center on Friday, June 13th. If we have enough helpers, we will deliver them to you during the day. Otherwise, if you are a crew leader, this can be picked up during your Sing and Play rotation. Station leaders should pick up forms during their station rotation break time.
Volunteer Special Requests
We appreciate that there are often reasons for certain requests. For example, a young leader may want to serve with a specific adult, or parents may request that older siblings lead younger siblings in a crew. We will take such requests into consideration, but please note that we will not honor requests for volunteers to lead with other friends. Our program is designed for younger assistant leaders (entering 7th grade thru 8th grade) to serve with older leaders (entering 9th grade and above) in each crew. We strive to make this happen if at all possible. The campers are the focus of VBS and the 3 hours each day of VBS are a great opportunity for volunteers to grow in their faith and leadership and meet new friends too!
Allergies/Medical
If you indicated allergies or medical issues on your registration form, please print and complete the Medical Release Form by clicking here: Medical Form
Background Checks
All volunteers age 18 or older are required to fill out a background check form. These will be available at each training or can be found by clicking here: Background Check Form
Safety is our number one priority for every child on our campus and we want to make every effort to be sure they are well taken care of. We ask that if you are experiencing ANY illness symptoms, that you please stay home for the duration of the week. We are so thankful for your cooperation! We have only the best volunteers!
