A very big part of Community Vacation Bible School is to help others. Our mission this year at Community VBS will be collecting donations for the "Little Help Food Pantry." Donations of canned goods, cereal, and other non-perishable items are welcome. There is also a need for personal care items such as deodorant, shampoo, and soap. We have set a goal of 1000 donations for the week. Each day as the donations come in... someone or several people will get a pie in the face, based on the number of donations received.
The Little Help Food Pantry is open to everyone who lives with in the North Newton School district, Shelby and Schneider in Lake County, IN. The food pantry is open every Tuesday (accept for VBS week... by appointment only) from 10am -12pm. The pantry is FREE and located at the Lake Village Presbyterian Church. Please bring your ID and we will be happy to help you and your family.
