Interested in serving at VBS? Here's what you need to know:
- Volunteer registration is online through the "Volunteer Registration" link on the home page.
- All volunteers must attend ONE Volunteer Training - all dates listed on the "Volunteer Training" page.
- All volunteers must be available to serve each day during VBS (Monday, June 17 - Friday, June 21 at 8:30am - 12:30pm) unless otherwise directed by their team leader.
VBS Volunteer Opportunities
- Crew Leader: This is our greatest volunteer need during VBS! Crew Leaders will participate in fun activities while building relationships with a group of preschool or elementary-age kids. Crew Leaders must be entering 8th grade or higher in the fall.
- Junior Crew Leader: A limited number of spots are available for students entering 6th or 7th grade to serve as Junior Crew Leaders during VBS.
- Elementary Craft Assistant: Help our Craft Session Leaders in assembling crafts, setting up craft areas, helping kids with crafts, cleaning up, and setting up for the next day. Craft Assistants must be entering 9th grade or higher.

Kitchen Team: Help gather & prepare the food & drink each day, will clean up/wipe down tables after each snack session, will pick up trash and guide kids as they assemble their snack. Volunteers must be at least 15 years old. Must be able to stand on their feet for long periods of time.
- Medical Response Team: Help keep our kids and volunteers safe if a situation arises that requires medical attention. Must be CPR certified. Need one volunteer per day (can be a different volunteer each day).
- Nursery Assistants: Help provide care for the infants and toddlers of our volunteers. Must be entering 7th grade or higher.
- Welcome Team: Welcome kids and their families with a smile as they arrive, direct kids to their crews, answer questions and collect attendance rosters. Must be at least 18 years old.
