Every year we have our campers collect change, dollars and checks to go towards a mission project somewhere in the world where missionaries are working hard to share the gospel with those that do not know the Lord.

This year is no different. We have the opportunity to come alongside the Stafford Family who are serving deep in the Brazilian jungle. This family (Dad, Mom and four kids) serves with the International Mission Board (IMB) attempting to reach the unreached by training Peruvian and Brazilian pastors and leaders who are all trying to 'get the gospel' to where they (the people) are. They live in a very remote place, located strategically close to the people as they can possibly get, legally, as they are restricted in many ways. The amazon jungle is so vast; there are no roads which makes reaching these people with the gospel such a challenge. They struggle to get to them fast enough and often enough!

The offering the kids bring in will go directly to fund one of these critical pastor/leader trainings so men and women are ready to share when God provides an open door and opportunity.

Our goal is to raise $6,000 that will fund the cost of one week of this critical training that includes: chartering a bush aircraft, securing a canoe for the 6-hour ride upriver into the community, and feeding everyone at the training with rice, beans, sugar and flour for a week. Also, our Ken Caryl Church Missions Committee is going to match the $6,000 goal the kids will be working towards achieving!

We have the amazing opportunity to help this family and the men and women they are training to reach unengaged people with the gospel in the amazon jungle.

Please pray how your family can help!
