Email: Be on the lookout for an email the week before VBS. It will tell you to what crew your child has been assigned and will have important information about the week.
The First Day:
If you have received the email with your child's crew assignment, proceed to the main sanctuary. No need to stop at registration.
Find your child’s group (Crew Color) via the signs in the main sanctuary and check in with the teacher to receive your security tag for pickup.
Sign in and out each day with the crew leader is required.
Daily Schedule (6/22-6/26 from 6-8:30pm)
5:50 p.m. Arrival
6:00 p.m. Introduction to the theme for the day and music, followed by activities.
8:20-Closing Assembly - All children will end their day in the sanctuary.
**Parents are welcome and encouraged to stay in the back of the sanctuary to watch the Opening and Closing each day!**
Wednesday: Be sure to have your child wear old clothes, as we will be painting our t-shirts that day and it can be messy!
Everyday Considerations
Please have your child dress appropriately. Each day they will be outdoors on the field playing games. Make sure they wear gym shoes or other appropriate footwear (NO FLIP FLOPS PLEASE).
Attendance: If you know ahead of time that your child will miss any days, please let us know, as it makes planning easier for the leaders.
Missions: The mission that we will be supporting through our VBS offering each night is the Africa Development Mission. We will be raising money to drill water wells and establish nutrition gardens. You can find out more at https://africadevelopmentmission.org/.
