2025 True North VBS

June 22, 2025 — June 26, 2025

Join us at Bethlehem Lutheran Church as we guide kids on the ultimate Alaskan adventure where northern lights glow over majestic mountains, racing rivers, and glistening glaciers. As kids trek the tundra, they’ll explore how easy it is to lose sight of what’s true in our wild world today. Pointing them toward Jesus, True North VBS shows them that he is a faithful friend we can always trust. He’s our True North!

Who's eligible to participate?

Kids in PreK3 (who turned three on or before September 1, 2024) through sixth grade are eligible to register and will be placed in groups according to the grade they complete at the end of the 2024-2025 school year.

If you are a Bethlehem member and get a friend (or two!) to register for VBS this summer by June 1, you'll receive a free True North VBS bandana!

*NEW* We're always had the nursery open and staffed during VBS but never had the option to register your child for it! Nursery is available for those who are not of age for VBS yet. Please register them as well! This is great for those volunteering as well as those who plan to attend adult Bible class.

Who can volunteer?

Youth starting 8th grade in the fall through adults are encouraged to volunteer throughout the week! Free t-shirts will be given to all children who are registered and volunteers who are signed up by Sunday, June 1!

Schedule:

Sunday, June 22 – Thursday, June 26

Dinner • 5:00-6:00pm

All are welcome to join for dinner. The menu will be posted here and in the newsletter in June.

VBS Programming • 6:00-7:45pm

Kids will enjoy Bible story time, crafts, games, and music!

Adult Bible Study • 6:30-7:30pm

The theme for the study will echo the Bible stories taught to the kids throughout the week. All adults are encouraged to attend.

Closing • 7:45-8:00pm

All are welcome to attend the closing each night as we wrap up the day’s learning and sing songs.
