Trusting Jesus in a Wild World

Hello and Welcome to VBS - Trusting Jesus in a Wild World!

This will be an exciting week filled with bible-learning experiences, hands-on science experiments, team-building games, unforgettable songs, and tasty treats. VBS is open to kids from Pre-K (3 & 4 year olds) through rising 5th graders. Pre-K parents! Not only does your child need to be potty trained but also be aware that they will be actively participating in each of the stations throughout the morning. The program and supervision are geared to making this an enriching experience for all ages, you will be contacted if any issues arise. 

The price per child is $40. This includes the materials handed out throughout the week, a snack each day, music (either CD or digital download), and a shirt. Payment is made using the give central link.

Please fill out the participation waiver via this link (https://www.smpschurch.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/VBS-2025-Form_B1_Waiver-And_Release.pdf) and either scan/email (bhogg@smpschurch.org) or return to church as soon as possible. Your registration will not be considered complete until the waiver is returned. 

Volunteers of all ages (adults, highschoolers, and middle schoolers) are greatly needed! Without you the "show can't go on"!  Please commit to being available for the full week. Use the drop-down menu to specify which roles most interest you. This way I can ensure I assign you to a preferred location. If not available all week...please reach out separately so I make sure to place you appropriately. Teens you are eligible to receive service hours. All volunteers under 18 need to fill out a participation waiver (see the link above). Furthermore, volunteers 14-18 need to be Worthy of the Call trained and over 18 need to be Virtus trained. Upon receiving your registration, you will be sent information to complete this training if needed. Lastly, don't forget to specify your shirt size; one will be provided to you.
