A very big part of Community Vacation Bible School is to help others. Our mission this year will be collecting non-perishable food donations for the "Little Help Food Pantry." Donations of canned goods, cereal, and other items are welcome. There is also a need for personal care items such as deodorant, shampoo, and toothpaste. We have set a goal of 1,000 donations for the week. Each day as the donations come in... several people will get a pie in the face, based on the number of food donations received. Each child will receive a ticket for each item donated that can be spent in the Food Truck Party Store on Friday! We will have Back to School Supplies and great fun prizes for the kids!
The Little Help Food Pantry is open to everyone who lives within the North Newton School District. The food pantry is open every Tuesday (except for VBS week... by appointment only) from 10am -12pm. The Little Help Food Pantry offers FREE food and is located at the Lake Village Presbyterian Church. Please bring your ID and we will be happy to help your family.
